My Experience
I have an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of British Columbia with a specialty in Transportation and Logistics. I worked in a small logistics company for three years and gained experience in import, export, transportation, warehousing, inventory management, dispatching, and how a small business works. After that, I spent a year working as the assistant to the president of Power to Change Ministries, one of the top-ten largest charities in BC. There I learned about servant leadership, fundraising, Carver’s Policy Governance model, and change management.
I also spent 4 years in the same organization planning events such as training sessions, mastermind groups, and international trips for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and young professionals. The past year I’ve dedicated time to understanding and experimenting with online business, blogging, and self-publishing. In a year and a half, we have grown our blog to 7,000 unique visitors and 18,000 pageviews per month as well as written, edited, and self-published two books.
Additionally, I’ve watched many, many, many episodes of the business TV shows Dragon’s Den and Sharks Tank.

I’m also very organized, a great planner, and am good with numbers. If you are starting or growing your blog or website, either for your business or as a hobby, I can help. We’ve built our blog on the WordPress platform, and use HostGator to host the website. I have experience with putting advertisements on our blog (Google Ads), developing affiliate marketing (Amazon, HostGator, and others) to generate income, and building an email list (using MailChimp). I can also help you develop a social media strategy to reach and interact with your target audience (using Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other platforms).
Help with Your Book
81% of Americans say they have a book in them to write, yet only 0.1% of the world’s population has actually written a book. My wife and I have self-published two books in 7 months and can help you with your book. From developing the concept of the book, preparing an outline, and developing the discipline to write regularly, to editing, self-publishing, creating a book cover, making a book trailer, and launching the book, I can help.

I have spent the last 10 years mentoring dozens of young professionals in their careers. I’ve also been personally mentored by three top-level leaders from the corporate, church, and non-profit arenas. If you have questions about which career to choose, what your strengths are, how to find your calling, how to find work that you love, or how to find meaningful work, come talk to me.
